Our moisture analyzers are based upon one of two technologies: our proprietary Quartz Crystal Microbalance and electrolytic (P2O5). Both technologies are restricted to monitoring trace moisture (ppmv and below) in gases and vaporizable liquids.

Quartz crystal microbalance technology, exclusively manufactured by AMETEK, is one of the most sensitive, stable, and contamination resistant technologies available for the on line measurement of moisture. This robust technology is employed in continuous operation in: catalytic reformers; natural gas gathering systems, processing facilities, and pipeline networks; atmospheric gas plants; and cutting-edge semiconductor facilities. Most of these moisture analyzers are also equipped with On Line Verification – another AMETEK exclusive.

The electrolytic moisture analyzers are primarily employed in portable applications and for the monitoring of moisture in chlorine gas.

The Moisture analyzers are manufactured in our Newark, DE facility.
